SUMMARY:Wahminda Grove Bushcare Group - October Working Bee
DESCRIPTION:Wahminda Grove Bushcare Group is rehabilitating upper reaches of Kedron Brook where it runs through Brisbane Forest Park. This section has good natural values but is threatened by dumping of garden rubbish and impact of stormwater. The group is working strategically on removal of weeds where bushland adjoins a residential area\, as well as planting to fill gaps in riparian (or riverbank) vegetation. Volunteer working bees are held on first and third Thursdays of each month from 8-10am\, and 2-4pm on last Sunday of each month. \nContact details\nFor more information\, email Lyn or Ann Ellerman.
