Ten enthusiasts gathered on a fine partly cloudy morning by car park in Grinstead Park, Enoggera. From there we made our way along Kedron Brook to bridge near Everton Park State High School oval, before returning to drive up to Sparkes Hill Reserve to walk a circuit around hill.
A total of 33 species was identified over morning.
We spotted a White-bellied Sea-eagle overhead at both locations, which we all got to enjoy. A few photos from morning’s observations, attached below.
Our next bird walk is through Albert Bishop Park and down to Schultz Canal in Toombul on Sunday 6 July at 7:30am.
