The Gilbert Road Bushcare Group kicked off 2026 in fine style, marking both New Year and their two-year anniversary a well-deserved morning tea on Sunday morning.
After a humid but productive few hours of weeding, dedicated volunteers gathered to enjoy some delicious treats and reflect on their progress. The group was delighted to see how well their planted natives are thriving, clear evidence of positive impact their regular efforts are having on this section of Kedron Brook.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all loyal volunteers whose commitment and hard work continue to make such a difference to health of Kedron Brook. Events like this remind us how rewarding community conservation can be.
